by partners David & Wendy. We both have a horticultural
background working in landscaping and garden services for
several years and have completed formal study courses |

is our twelfth year at The Cottage Garden.
Our enthusiasm for plants and the buzz to help and advise
our customers grows by the week. |
| We
have been growing all manners of plants for many years and
are constantly furthering our experience, knowledge and
enjoyment within this industry. |
| David's
first experience within the gardening industry was at the
early age of 3!!! With a 1d packet of Lupin seeds purchased
at Woolworth's he set about the garden. Several school projects
back in the 1950's, much potting, lots of planting, and
a fair bit of landscaping later, and gardening is still
one of the most important & satisfying parts of his
life. |

One
of our biggest loves is for fuchsia, and we carry several hundred
plants but alas a sensible living cannot be made from a specialist
activity. We are members of several national & local horticultural
societies including R.H.S., British Fuschia Society, Handy Plant
national & North London, Henry Doubleday and The National
Leisure Gardens as well as local groups in North London and our
home town of Waltham Forest. |

We
are able & willing to offer talks and demonstrations for
interested groups either at the nursery or suitable meeting
venue. We also support charitable groups, and would be happy
to provide a promotional plant stand at fetes and other fund-raising
events! We can offer help and advise for schools setting up
schools garden projects & education for pupils &
students.
For ease of finding us in directories and our web site, we are
classified with garden centres, but we are not a giant multisales
store full of everything plus a few plants. We pride ourselves
on being a garden plant nursery offering good quality
at competitive prices. Growing and selling a comprehensive range
of seasonal plants for seasonal gardeners.
Including shrubs, trees and perennials in several sizes and
prices. Also, architectural and exotic looking plants, seasonal
beddings, hanging baskets, fuchsias, patio containers and basket
plants, composts, fertilisers and sundries. Pots and containers
in plastic, terracotta, stone and wood.

provide work experience placements for schools & others
including mature students with learning difficulties.

construction projects, general tidying and pruning, turfing
and garden advise consultation
